What drives you to compete: Showing that living doesn’t require killing, and that the human body is capable of great feats. Also, the moment of pulling a lot of weight off of the ground is a huge adrenaline rush.

What do you see as the biggest advantages of being a vegan athlete: I get to reach my goals without hurting cute fuzzy creatures!

What types of supplements if any do you use?: Plant Fusion, Sun Warrior, at times I have used bcaa’s or creatine in short cycles.

How would you describe your diet while preparing for a competition: Eating enough to replenish energy, repair the body, without adding weight, and no focus on cutting. I am eating to move more and more weight relative to my current mass. Whole Grains, legumes, tofurky sausages, tempeh cabbage, kale, multi-colored veggies.brusselsprouts, bananas, peanutbutter, almond butter & rice cakes.

Favorite food in your prep diet: Lunch made by The Vegan Caterer!
