What drives you to compete: Showing that living doesn’t require killing, and that the human body is capable of great feats. Also, the moment of pulling a lot of weight off of the ground is a huge adrenaline rush.
What do you see as the biggest advantages of being a vegan athlete: I get to reach my goals without hurting cute fuzzy creatures!
What types of supplements if any do you use?: Plant Fusion, Sun Warrior, at times I have used bcaa’s or creatine in short cycles.
How would you describe your diet while preparing for a competition: Eating enough to replenish energy, repair the body, without adding weight, and no focus on cutting. I am eating to move more and more weight relative to my current mass.
