What drives you to compete: I just want to see what my body can do
What do you see as the biggest advantages of being a vegan athlete: My recovery after ultra-marathons and strength increase with body building
What types of supplements if any do you use?: Creatine, Arginine,and PlantFusion.
How would you describe your diet while preparing for a competition: Six weightlifting workouts (45min -1.25 hrs) and six cardio sessions (1-1.5 hours) a week
Favorite food in your prep diet: Salads and smoothies
How would you describe your training for a competition: Very focused and intense at the gym, but relatively relaxed at home.
Favorite exercises: Dumbell pullovers, close grip pull down and the squat machine.
How many hours a week do you spend training?: about 7 hours off season and 13 + hours during contest preparation.
Today I am most proud of: Breaking my flat dumbbell fly record (55lbs for 12 reps). Being a vegan, so that I don’t create harm to animals while getting in the best physical condition of my life.
